Michael T. Alexander has been married to Detra for 25 years, he has two children and five grandchildren. He loves spending time with family at BBQs and enjoying the nice summer days. In his free time, he is entertained by watching movies and listening to audible books. He graduated from Lockport Township High School in 1987.
He is currently a field mechanic at the local Joliet oil refinery for 24 years and has worked on various assignments from operating heavy equipment, to scaffold building and mechanical repair planning.
He is a member of the St. Paul M.B. Church of Joliet where he serves on many leadership teams and committees. The ministries include the Outreach Ministry, Sunday school teacher, Media team director, and the Deacon board.
He founded SilverCup Investments in 2016 a rental property management business as well as an investment company in other start-up businesses. He believes his purpose is to invest in people. To look at them not as they are, but as what they can become when someone believes in them. He is also a host and the executive producer of the Mic, DJ and Doc podcast.
